Leeroy!!! Haha, listen to how seriously they all take this. They even assemble in a semi circle to discuss their plan! HAHAHAHAHA!!! ‘uh, we’re going to need divine intervention…’ ‘can you give me a number crunch real quick?!’ AHAHAHAHA!

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

Taken from my old MySpace blog:

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Current mood:  happy

Just got back from a family vay-kay (holiday/vacation) in Hawaii. It was fansmastic…not sure why I’m using such strange fake slang!

We have a new album coming out early next year…watch out for hints, we’re going to have some fun with this one, make you look for stuff.

I started a new blog, which I have been updating very regularly, DanYoungBlog.com.

This weekend I get a new puppy dog, pictures to follow! BT - Boston Terrier.

I have a Twitter account too: Twitter.com/dan_young.

I’m working hard on being myself…still, it’s not easy in a world of conformity, and when you are scared to death of what everyone else is thinking. It’s actually quite self-centered of me.

From Kona.

I’m currently on a family vacation in Kona, Hawaii. I’ve never been to Hawaii. So far, pretty sweet. I had no problems with the flights this time, except for a rambunctious, obnoxious, basketball-playing, idiot, high school, Canadian girl. She stole my dad’s seat and wouldn’t shut up the whole ride. She was one of those people who love the sound of their voice, I was one of those people who found it irritating. I told her that too!

I love that I came from snow falling everyday to 80 degrees of tropical air. Believe it or not, I was getting kind of sick of that winter wonderland which constantly had the ol’ Maxima struggling to escape it’s grip. I like the beach, always have, always will.

10:30 AM: Just woke up!
So I made it home from Boston. It took me two days, but I was destined to spend the night in Phoenix with David, Shane, and some new and old friends. I meet a guy at the airport while I was in line at sucktomer service for US Airways (don’t fly with them). And seeing as I was in that line for an hour and a half, we became friends. He hung out with us and spent the night. Pretty funny, in my last blog I was talking about how annoying it was to have to talk to complete strangers on the plane, this time it was actually nice to have some company and make a new friend! Haha.
David has a friend in the Marines who is home for the Holidays, then he heads out to Afghanistan, which is crazy. It was awesome getting to know him too, I learnt a lot about the military and government talking with him, and I loved every minute of it (the conversation), as messed up as it all is (war and the likes).
Check our MySpace today, we will be posting our Christmas song, ‘A Mistletoe and You.’ I wrote this fairly quickly so we could throw it on the web in time for Christmas, and I recorded it in my bathroom sitting on the loo. Still, I rather like the song, and I hope you do too!
 Much love,

On Monday, I flew into Boston from Seattle. I spent the whole day flying and waiting. After delays and a transfer I ended up spending about 13 hours traveling. I know I complain about flying a LOT, but I’ve been doing it more often recently, and it really gets old. And to think how much I loved it when I was a kid! Ha. But those where the days when movies, snacks, lunches, you name it, were all free. And when I was constantly with my slightly younger brother, who seems to make even the dullest moments interesting. Now…well now I have to be an adult and make small talk with complete strangers. Eh.
Anyway, the point of this particular blog was to let you know I have been working with Nick Santino from A Rocket To The Moon. Justin Richards from Brighten was here when I got here…a fantastic surprise! So we wrote some songs together. Needless to say, here’s a picture of Nick laying some vocals on a demo track. I would show you the song (it’s a little odd and a bit cute), but I would have to kill you.
It’s been so awesome getting to know Nick more. His parents are AWESOME, his dog is rad, his cats are interesting, he has a messy room, today I found out someone has a hamster named Nick Santino, he’s a great singer, his album is going to be awesome.
I have to wake up in 3 hours to get my plane home to Seattle. I better get some sleep!
Cheers,
 -Dan
P.S. I also started a twitter account, and I’ll start putting those up on this blog once I figure it out. twitter.com/dan_young
