I like being a human.

RANDOM THOUGHT OF THE DAY

“What animal do you want to be when you grow up?” - We did an interview on a college radio station today, that was one of our questions - WHAT KIND OF A QUESTION IS THAT?! I don’t even feel bad for responding the way I did, I told her that I think that the question makes no sense, and I want to be a human. Now it’s not that I don’t mind a fun question in an interview, but what is all this nonsense about growing up into an animal? I don’t get it, I don’t back it. Another thing, if you’re going to interview a band or someone of that nature, you might want to know what their latest project is. “Do you guys have a new album in the works, or, I’m sorry I don’t know, have you released a CD recently or anything?”

I’m really not an angry person, just a little cynical I suppose. Let’s try ending this post on a positive note…

Today we played an acoustic performance for the Pentagon Channel which, correct me if I’m wrong, is a TV station designed for the troops and all things military related. It is aired to bases and camps all over the world. It was such a great experience. And I feel bad looking back on my last post now - I can’t even imagine how homesick those troops must be. I love that we were able to give something, as miniscule as it may be, back to the troops that put their lives on the line to protect a country that is often un-appreciative. I’m not even a citizen of the US, but I still think that this is a great country worth fighting for.
We should have a video of the performance and interview with in a week or two. I’ll make sure to post a link on here for anyone who is interested.

Pshh, what kind of animal do you want to be when you grow up?!
