Interesting Question.
Thought I’d share this:
- You’ve been writing music for years, out of all the albums, which is your favorite?
Or if you can’t pick a favorite, what do you feel about them now/how would you describe them all? From Our World’s Divorce, to This Providence, to Who Are You Now? - That’s a good question. I love Our World’s Divorce because it has such character and honesty to it. I was a kid out of high school writing openly and honestly about adolescence. Self titled is cool, but I feel like we were a little distracted while making this record, it’s not dishonest, it just lacks a little soul. Who Are You Now? is my favourite, for sure. We re-captured that same sincerity from OWD. WAYN is all about finding your identity and exploring perspectives, which is something I constantly deal with. It’s also the most personal record I’ve been a part of, I wrote a lot of my childhood into different stories/songs. I hope people take the time to look deeper at this new record.
